Dry Needling

Dry needling is used at Kogarah Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic as an adjunct to physiotherapy and rehabilitation where appropriate. It involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific muscle tissue to assist with pain modulation, muscle tension, and movement restriction.

Dry needling may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan to support symptom management and improve movement quality. It is not used in isolation and is always combined with education, exercise-based rehabilitation, and active management strategies.

Our clinicians are trained in dry needling techniques and apply this modality selectively, based on individual assessment findings and clinical presentation.
